Overall Opinion: AirDroid is a great app for both iOS & Android users who want to have more control over their mobile device when using a computer. By installing the AirDroid app on the phone and desktop, users can see and send text messages, transfer files from one device to the other, and Pro users can even activate the device camera remotely to monitor their environment. If you've ever tried to get a photo or document off of your phone without having to resort to emailing it, you know what a struggle it can be. AirDroid fixes that by linking its desktop application directly with your phone so sending files across devices is a breeze. The Basic plan is available for free and gives you 200MB of data transfer per month. To move more than that, you'll need to upgrade to Pro, which bumps that up to unlimited. It also has a few more perks, like adding more devices to your account and allowing you to remote control your device's camera to create a security camera for your home. The Pro plan costs $19.99 a year if you pay the full fee up front, or you can opt for the $1.99 a month version. Overall the service is worth it if you'd like to have access to your texts and files from your smartphone on your computer. AirDroid works well on Android and iOS and is a great file management solution.
