Bandwidth Reviews
We have 1 review for Bandwidth. The average overall ratings is 4.0 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: One of the best things about Bandwidth is that they don't just sell the telecom services. They also control the network that runs all of the VoIP services, ensuring that they can better help customers along with easily controlling their prices. Bandwidth contains a comprehensive plan of services that should give you everything you need. Aside from basic calls and messaging, you can also gain access to 911 calls, SIP trunks for cost sharing and automated call controls. The SIP trunking is available for 48 states and Canada, ensuring that all calls are included in the regular plan pricing, except for those made to or from Hawaii and Alaska. Speaking of pricing, you can easily see what the per minute pricing is for each service on their website. They also offer cellular services under their Republic Wireless brand, allowing you to use your wireless connection for phone calls. They offer both 3G and 4G connections, and you can change your plan twice a month as necessary based on your needs. Call quality is a frequent concern of businesses since bad call quality can quickly erode trust in your company. Bandwidth has been rated as one of the top providers in this category, ensuring that all calls are crisp and easy to hear. In general, Bandwidth gives you all the services you would ever need, and they even control the network that provides these services. This makes it much easier to resolve any issues, plus you don't have to deal with extra service charges.
Pros: Bandwidth offers a comprehensive list of services. This ensures that you get everything that you need for your business or service. They control the network itself, which is fairly uncommon in this line of business. This gives them more control over pricing and service. You can make unlimited calls to 48 states, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. Those require an extra charge for each call.
Cons: Even though the website lays out pricing, it can be a little confusing. They have a tool that helps you estimate the pricing based on usage, but it could be more straightforward. You will receive invoices from different companies controlled by Bandwidth, making billing a little confusing. For example, if you use their cellular service, then you'll receive a bill from Bandwidth and Republic Wireless.
