Overall Opinion: CollabNet has been on the map for two decades, and their GitEye software is an example of their commitment to quality. Coders love GitEye because of its ability to keep an entire code repository local while maintaining connections with cloud or private repositories. This allows for faster searching and browsing through massive projects. GitEye has built-in integration with popular Git services, like GitHub, and CollabNet's own services, CloudForge and TeamForge. It also works fine with Jira, Hudson, Bugzilla, Jenkins, Trac and many others. GitEye's advanced functionality includes the ability to track defects, build services, review code and utilize Agile planning. Administrators of large projects can use GitEye to monitor changes to code in real time. Additionally, modifications to code in GitEye are visualized and acted upon instantaneously, so users wont have to manually pull changes. Build notifications can be automated as well, saving development time. GitEye comes standard with support for monitoring builds from platforms like Jenkins Continuous Integration Server or Hudson. The icing on the cake is GitEye's built-in issue tracking, so issues no longer have to be submitted and handled by a third party. It's available on Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. The software is free, and service package are available for a subscription fee.

Cons: Users that are satisfied with their online cloud Git repository might have no need for this software Service packages are pricey, starting at $350 per month
