More About PdaNet
Are you tired of surfing through the small screen of your mobile phone and you are looking for an alternative way of accessing the internet? Or do you living in an area where there is no proper internet connection? June Fabrics Technology has a solution to your problem through their software known as PdaNet. PdaNet is a mobile application for Palm OS and Windows mobile phones that allow you to share internet from your phone to your computer.
The tethering software turns your mobile device to a WiFi hotspot via a USB cable, Bluetooth or WiFi allowing you to have unlimited access to the internet on your computer. When using the USB option, you will be required to enable the USB debugging option from the development tools in your phone setting. However, your mobile phone is required to have a data plan for PdaNet application to work. You can purchase a data plan from one of the available wireless carriers available in your area. Carriers charge different rates for a data plan; therefore, it is essential that you do not disclose your idea of using your mobile device as a modem to your computer. Once you purchase a data plan, download the PdaNet software preferably from June Fabrics Technology’s website for free. PdaNet is one of the simplest software to install. After downloading the file, connect your phone to your computer through a USB cable, follow the guided installation process, and you will be connected to the internet.
The app has a free 30 days trial after which you will be required to pay a fee of $20 to continue enjoying its services. One of the advantages of PdaNet is that even after the free 30 days trial you will still have access to the internet, but you will not be able to access secure sites such as Gmail.
