Overall Opinion: If you are looking for a really good PDF app for your mobile device, you could do far worse than Kdan's PDF Reader. It has just about every PDF function you could imagine, and many you have probably never have thought about, such as highlighting, underlining, and scanning. You can even insert images and hyperlinks into a PDF file and draw directly onto a PDF. The latter is especially useful for signing PDF files. PDF Reader also excels at its main purpose: reading a PDF file when you are on the go. Text and images are clear and crisp and scrolling is smooth. It even has a night mode and can create a sepia background for easier reading. What's more, the app works on just about every imaginable platform, and it lets you transfer and share files between them. It also seamlessly works with most cloud services. Best of all, it is completely free of charge. That does not mean that PDF Reader is perfect. Even though it is free, Kdan still must generate revenue. It does this by nagging you to use their cloud service, which is not inexpensive. It also displays ads, though these you can remove by buying the premium version, which is also not cheap. But if you are too distracted by ads, PDF reader is an excellent and full-featured app.
