Sisense Reviews
We have 1 review for Sisense. The average overall ratings is 4.0 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: While Sisense isn't typically marketed toward businesses that are just getting started in the business intelligence world, it can be used by just about any brand. The UI appears small and straightforward, but it hides one of the most robust engines in the BI industry. It also offers a number of amazing functions related to visualizing data in various forms that are both aesthetically pleasing and informative. There are certainly other BI systems out there with more recognition or familiarity in the industry, like Microsoft Power BI. However, the functions in the software are just as in-depth and premium as any found in the Microsoft app. It performs processes within the hardware chip and not system memory, and it understands natural language well enough to answer queries posited through just about any third-party app. For instance, if you have Skype open, you can ask it a question and it will answer you through Skype. Unfortunately, the Sisense software isn't ideal for use in businesses that would require it to be used by those with limited skill levels in the field of statistics or data analytics. For example, it isn't comprehensive enough to be readily usable by those with no advanced experience, but you could easily claim Microsoft Word as an app that just about anyone could use to its full potential. Of course, Sisense comes with a range of tutorials, online training tools, and other resources to ensure you get the most from the suite. Business analysts and others with similar skills will certainly appreciate the tools in this app. Many of the most tedious tasks can be lifted from those who should be doing other things with their skills, and it doesn't require much IT or upkeep. If you already use other apps for analytics, Sisense will seamless integrate with them. It can be embedded in other digital products with little effort. The software includes two primary components. The first is the web-based user interface, and the second is called ElastiCube. This is the name of the database used exclusively by the Sisense system. You must actually download and install the ElastiCube module on any system that wants to use Sisense. This is an unusual requirement since most other BI systems require no system downloads or locally-run software. The great thing about the data visualization tools in Sisense is that they show a number of insights that other systems don't show. While others might come with more formats and design options for visualization, the productions of Sisense are much more detailed and comprehensive. You can easily interact with these visualizations by simply rolling over them with your cursor.
Pros: Few Processing Bottlenecks Natural Language Query
Cons: Occasional Analytics Issues Slight Learning Curve
