The ability to search, access, move and edit all your cloud files from one central location is likely an attractive idea. Into the software tool arena steps Storage Made Easy. This program IS the aforementioned, "one central location." This service will crawl up to around fifty other cloud services and allow you to work with them all from one location. If you have multiple clouds (even a lot of them,) they are ALL likely supported. This is the most important thing to note as little competition exists. It does its job well, and all your clouds are likely supported. What more could you want? Let's review the application a little further..... A FURTHER REVIEW: First of all, a single PC license is only slightly over $5 a month when broken down. This is a fair price to pay for the privilege of raining over all your existing cloud services! This is the beginning tier, however. The cost for corporate clients can climb much higher. A 14-day free trial will offer you 5GB to play with. This will allow you to make a more informed purchasing decision. The software is also very easy to get started using. At the end of the day, this program works great for managing multiple clouds OR for backing up cloud data (and other data) in general. Most of the more, "cost-effective," options that are out there require a deeper understanding of IT and do not offer a solution in one simple software package. This alone makes the application worth the initial yearly cost. It seems that users with three or more clouds would consider NOT having this application an almost criminal act. Read moreless

Overall Opinion: A great product for use with Amazon S3. You can password protect Amazon S3 shares and also time expire the links really easily. Its also a lot easier to set it up to use your Amazon S3 bucket with your corporate identity management (n our case Active Directory) so that you effectively get a single sign in. There is an encryption option for encrypting data. This is an alternative to, or can be used in conjunction with Amazon's SSEC encryption - an added security if you like. The drive feature is neat especially if you have a lot of data on S3. You can browser your remote S3 file system directly from a desktop drive, but really you are only browsing the stubs. The real files get downloaded on demand. There is a lot more stuff I can say about the solution but the bottom line for me is that it makes the use and sharing of S3 data very easy and secure.

This will allow you to make a more informed purchasing decision. The software is also very easy to get started using. Pros: Low cost to get started with a basic plan. Also works really great as a general backup option. This is even true if you only have a cloud or two. GB of space to play around with. A great deal of money can be saved with a lifetime plan. Easy to use graphic interface despite the version being employed. A huge amount of cloud support (47 cloud services, this is almost 50!) Great technical support team. The developer has created a version for every platform under the sun!

Cons: Not needed if you only use one cloud tool for ALL your storage needs. Another cost to pay ON TOP of your various monthly cloud fees! Other options exist for more advanced IT users. These options are free.
