Overall Opinion: Make no mistake, Visual Paradigm is a tool for businesses who want to keep their important data on one platform. The software handles different events, such as task management customer journey mapping, and is able to display it in a handsome story board. The diagrams created by Visual Paradigm are clean and responsive, and the fact that the software is based online means that it's easy to share these beautiful flow charts and graphs with other users. Visual blueprints can be designed with UML, ERD, SysML, DFD and SoaML programming. The product specializes in mapping software development activities, allowing an administrator to view progress of each and every step of the development process. Visual Paradigm can also generate and design databases using ERD. All revisions can be kept on the cloud, or for businesses that desire extra security, the entire platform can be housed on a self-hosted server. The possibilities are endless.

Pros: A 30-day free trial is available with no registration needed Supports 64- and 32-bit versions of Windows, as well as Linux and Mac OS X systems

Cons: The cheapest version of the software is $99 and is severely limited in features. Those who want more will be paying $349 for a small step up and $799 for the professional version. The fully-featured enterprise version costs $2000 (more reasonable monthly subscription plans are available)
