Overall Opinion: When you take advantage of the functions found in Zoho Vault, it makes your entire life just a little bit easier. The software acts primarily as a password manager so you don't have to worry about mixing up any of your many passwords with the various accounts they go with. You can also store other pieces of private information in the app, and you are the only one who can access the content once it has been locked. Any team that needs to be able to transfer data back and forth between each other needs the security of Zoho Vault. These enterprise features become available when you purchase the business versions of the software, but the personal version is free but lacks those advanced features. It doesn't really matter what sort of data you want to keep private. Zoho Vault can handle the protection of any sort of digital content, including credit card information, social security numbers, details of your passport, web-based account info, vital documents, and much more. Once you've created an entry for a specific web account through Zoho Vault, the software will automatically populate that information into the login portal when you visit that site. This prevents you from having to type your passwords, which can be a big pain if you use randomized passwords for their higher security. The software is flexible enough so that you can modify the content within it at any point. To better organize your passwords and data, they can be sorted into 'chambers' of related or similar content. With the search function, you can quickly find content by attached tags or other search metrics. The password generator is an excellent way to produce completely random passwords that are strong enough to fool even the strongest hacking tools. You can keep your data backed up to your local device so you can still access it when you have no access to the web. To make sure your content is protected, the software employs powerful AES-256 encryption protocols. When you set up Zoho Vault, you'll be asked to create a single passphrase that is easy for you to remember, and that will be your key to the software. The passphrase is never saved anywhere, so Zoho Vault can't possibly leak your private information. To further protect your privacy, the app includes a function that will log you out of the app automatically after a period of inaction. The user interface for Zoho Vault is fairly standard, and it offers no flashy frills, so the software is quite fast and efficient. It takes only a few minutes to get started, and you can even create a list of your favorite content so it can be accessed faster.
