Overall Opinion: If you are like most Windows users, you have probably cursed the File Explorer once or twice in your life, or perhaps a lot more. If you have ever wished there was a substitute for it, you are in luck. Explorer++ does everything File Explorer does and a lot more. Firstly, it has a tabbed interface, making it much easier to copy and move files and folders to new locations. It also has bookmarks and an uncluttered right-button menu. It can further securely delete files, and you can set a default folder location for when the program starts. It has a lot of really useful commands, too. For example, if you have ever needed to split a large file so that you could email it, Explorer++ will do this for you automatically, and it will also merge these chunks if you are on the receiving end of this transfer. What's more, Explorer++ does not require a formal installation. You just unzip it and run it anywhere. You can also set up Explorer++ to be your default file manager, and, best of all, it is completely free of charge. On the downside, there has not been much development of it as of late, and its searching functions are not very good. Finally, it has an annoying tendency to crash now and then.
