Overall Opinion: If you are only looking for a home design planning software for a few projects, the free version of Homebyme is worth it. The software includes features such as the first person view in 360 degrees, an easy to use wall drawing tool, and the ability to share the design online. You can view your design choices in both 3D and 2D renderings, and create a shopping list for the things you need to make the design happen in your home. However, if you need to buy the paid version, you may be better off with another floor planning software that includes more features for the price. Homebyme has a lack of design and building items to use in both the drawing and planning stage, making it hard to get the exact design you want. Also, the saved images are only available to share online.

Pros: Easy to switch smoothly from 2D to 3D renderings The interface is easy to use, with a simple design and minimal menus and controls Easy to save images and share them online Provides 360 degree views to give you the feeling of the design in your home First person views give you the opportunity to walk through your design as if you were actually in the room Shopping list tool allows you to add any items you need for the design Wall drawing tool is easy to use Free for the first few design projects

Cons: Lacks a huge selection of furniture, which may hinder your design Limited number of building choices, including for doors, windows and kitchen cabients Have to constantly switch from 2D and 3D to get an item into the right spot Does not have a tool for making curved walls The paid version does not have enough features to justify the price
