Overall Opinion: Stripe offers a fairly clear payments structure for companies that need a pay-as-you-go credit card processing company. For example, Stripe charges a single flat rate of 2.9 percent + $0.30 for each individual credit card transaction. However, business owners considering using this service should know there is no refund on canceled transactions. The fees are in-line with its major competitors, PayPal, Square and Braintree charge. Some of the products offered by Stripe include mobile commerce integration, platform building tools, marketplace solutions and subscription solutions. Users also gain access to marketing tools such as coupons and free trials. Since Stripe accepts more than 100 currencies across the globe, users can enable the Stripe connect feature, which allows business owners to verify international sellers, create custom payment schedules and automate seller's payments on a marketplace.
