Overall Opinion: Uptodown is a great online app marketplace. It features a lot of cool apps that you might not see on some other marketplaces, but it also has a lot of the great apps that you would expect to see in any online store. Productivity apps can help drive your day, and arcade games can take over your screen whenever you have some spare time to kill. There are countless ways that going to Uptodown can help you, as there are countless functions that the apps in the store can perform. Getting these apps is easy, as the website is formatted well and is easy to get around, with most apps being broken up into one of a handful of categories. Some of these categories are simply the brand of device that the apps are designed for. This can help with some device exclusive apps, but is irrelevant for the many that are compatible with multiple platforms.
Pros: Uptodown has an easy to use format that clearly lays out your mobile app options for you. The page also has a search function that allows you to quickly search for apps if you already know the name of your desired app. Uptodown has apps of all kinds in its stores. You can find action games next to communication apps or apps to help you write. The different categories that Uptodown's apps fall into are all displayed right on the main page of the website.
Cons: Uptodown does not have as wide of a selection as some other mobile app marketplaces. It does have a large library, but it is by no means the largest app store online. There are not as many categories as there probably should be on Uptodown. If the site broke all of its apps up into more categories, they would easier to find and people would be more likely to download them. The search function only really helps you if you know the name of an app that you are trying to download it. If you do not know its name, you may have some trouble trying to find it.
