Overall Opinion: Uptrends is a great website to use for just about anybody running a website of their own. The site is constantly testing yours and checking for any problems with how it is running or performing. This is great because if you did not have something checking your website, it would be easy for something to go wrong with it without you having any idea. Now not only do you get to have someone constantly monitoring your site, you get to set the site up to send you alerts whenever there is a problem detected with your site. This is incredibly helpful because no matter where you are or what you are doing, you can keep track of the performance of your site. There are not many programs online that can do the job of testing your site as well as Uptrends can, and with it running you can always rest easy knowing your site is safe.
Pros: Uptrends is constantly checking and testing various aspects of your site, including how it is running and how well its server is working. Because it constantly runs, you will know as soon as something goes wrong. Because you can use Uptrends to set up alerts for yourself, you can know immediately whenever there is a problem with any part of your website. Uptrends can also be used to keep track of activity of other on your site. You can use the app to keep track of log ins and searches, among other things.
Cons: There are some aspects of your site that you cannot track with Uptrends. You cannot see a lot of the specific content that people may be consuming on your site, or at least not easily. There may be problems that are detected with your site that you are unable to do anything about, and you may need to get an expert to help you with them if you want your site to run smoothly. While the site can be integrated with multiple third party apps, there are still many apps that are not easily made compatible with it.
