Overall Opinion: I am a Scrum Master and Zentao has various reporting tool to gather the data and helps me understand how the team velocity is like. The team updates their daily and task status, and I can find reports on tasks, stories, and the project overview. I would recommend it to other agile teams.
Pros: - bug tracking are definitely fantastic - offline sync, diff / repositories, nested comments, multiple view layouts, and chat.
Cons: - the UI and UX can be improved for team collaboration - a little bit learning curve for the team
Overall Opinion: First of all, it has open-source version which is totally free and self-hosted available. It could be an alternative to Jira. Secondly, it's a Scrum tool that implements scrum precisely. There is three main modules which are product, sprint, and test. The wiki library is powerful, so well as Report, you could get your resource details like hours, efforts of your developers, and workflow which is something like in Jira. We really love the three modules in zentao which clearly seperate po, dev and testers that make them work in their own module but could collaborate at the same time.
Pros: 1. Product-sprint-test, they are all linked with stories, tasks, and bugs, you could easily track if user stories have been completed. 2. sprint timeline, with Gantt, burndown, and kanban for visualizations, efforts for what your team has been doing everyday. 3. Report is very powerful, for checking workload, your resource, and results for queries like product summary or something like that.
Cons: The mobile app is not complete, it only has basic modules from a web App, which seems not to be to a qualified App I think.
