Overall Opinion: Hoop.la is a great platform to use for all kinds of brands, but is especially helpful for people who go into media or politics. The ability to get direct feedback from your audience is one that has not been around forever. Before there were programs like Hoop.la, businesses and entertainers would have to use stratified surveys to figure out what their audiences thought of their performance. However, programs like Hoop.la change this completely. Instead of having to use educated guesses that could easily lead you astray, you can hear directly from members of your community what they think of the job that you are doing. And this is only one of several important features that define Hoop.la. Not only can your online community talk to you, they can also talk amongst themselves. They have the ability to easily share things online with one another through the program.
Pros: Hoop.la allows brands to get in touch with their audiences directly. This makes getting feedback n your products or services easier than ever before because you no longer have to rely on surveys to do the job for you. Hoop.la allows members within a community to share items with one another and to get in touch with the people higher up directly. Hoop.la is a great program for entertainers or politicians because it allows them to accurately figure out their popularity amongst their bases or core audiences.
Cons: Hoop.la is not the only online community organizing platform available. Because there may be other options available to you, you may want to do some looking before you decide on a program that works for you. If you have a very large audience or base, then it may be hard to get a good feel for what the group has to say about your performance. Individual voices are not heard as well in larger audiences. There may be large portions of your audience that do not participate in discussion or reviewing on Hoop.la. As a result, you will not get to hear what your entire audience has to say.
