iSpring Suite Reviews
We have 1 review for iSpring Suite. The average overall ratings is 4.0 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: Review iSpring Suiite is billed as an all-in-one online learning platform. Publishers can design their course and get it online without having to use third party add-ons or subscribe to expensive outside services. Upon a review of the package, we found that they deliver on most of their promises. Users can utilize a variety of instructional methods to put content up in the course. This includes video lectures, text, pictures, and much more. The course is interactive, and chat rooms can be integrated to encourage more participation from the attendees. For courses that require students to demonstrate a certain competency level before moving on, assessment potential is also built into iSpring Suites. Existing PowerPoint slides can be used with the course. Working with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, content can be written offline and then integrated into the course when ready. The license for the program is on an annual basis, and allows authors or publishers to promote their product around the world.
Pros: Learning platform is equally functional on all types of devices - One of the more beneficial components of iSpring Suites is that users can access courses on their personal computer, smartphone, or tablet. Full functionality is retained throughout. Easily integrate existing PowerPoint slides - If you have already completed a series of PowerPoint slides and developed them for a course, they can easily be integrated in iSpring Suites. Any animations and transitions will also transfer with no problem. Quick learning curve for participants - The program is relatively easy to use, so students and training attendees can easily learn how to make use of the various features that they need to be successful.
Cons: Templates can give a canned feel when publishing multiple courses - When multiple courses are published, they can begin to look alike if all of the same features are used. This takes away the creativity and ingenuity that many users might be looking for. Pricing is a bit steep for smaller organizations - There is not a one time fee option for iSpring Suites. To continue using it, an annual licensing fee must be paid. This might be a bit steep for many small businesses. Some features not easy to use on mobile devices - While the site is responsive in nature, some of the features are not easy to manipulate on a smartphone or tablet.
