Overall Opinion: Jostle itself is actually a web-based platform that many use through a desktop system, but the mobile app is nearly as powerful as the full desktop version. You can catch a glimpse of employee activities and statuses with the Activity view module. This module shows exactly what each employee is doing at any given time, so you can make sure everyone is working adequately and efficiently. With the People view module, you can browse through your entire staff by uploaded image or through various search parameters. You can search with the powerful integrated search system that finds employees by legal name, nickname, title, location, skill, and more. The software is so advanced that it will work around misspelled names in order to find exactly who you meant. Once you've found the profile you wish to further view, you can take advantage of the Profile view module to see more vital info about that particular contact. The software allows you to add contact info contained on the profile to your own system directly from within the app, and you can also email or call various contacts directly through the app. Your Jostle network is a lot like an online social network, but the members will all be from a single corporate business. You can use this advantage to create connected groups for easy project collaboration. Even if members are separated by distance, they can still communicate effectively thanks to the Jostle mobile app. The News module in the app provides you with a newsfeed populated by current and recent news about the company. You can use this resource to find out important events, read messages from leadership, and connect with updates as they occur. The Library module is particularly helpful for many reasons. You can use it to upload and store all the digital content that your brand might need. This includes budgets, forms, training content, materials for marketing, videos, protocols, and more. Once you upload files to the system, they are organized in volumes for easier management and organization. There are some downsides to the software, which is true for most major systems like this. You can not deactivate notifications, which means you'll be constantly bombarded with them if you are working on a large project with a vast group of collaborators. In some cases, documents won't open even if they are completely visible. The software lacks support for more advanced modern hardware platforms, and it lags occasionally. Considering the premium cost associated with this software, it could be better in terms of customizations and advanced features. Despite being a relatively small and lightweight app, it is often slow to the point of frustration.
