Line2 Reviews
We have 2 reviews for Line2. The average overall ratings is 2.5 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: Horrible. I've been using Line2 for probably going on two years now. The application is buggy in Windows 10. I get divide by zero and other exceptions all over the place. Consistently after I hang up from any call. I've tried to leave, but can't port my number away. I've tried putting in numerous requests to have the number ported out but they all come back as having incorrect information. We've compared the information we're sending with the information in my profile and it's the same. My new provider has tried numerous times to reach out to Neutral Tandem, which is apparently listed as their VOIP provider. Despite calling multiple times during their posted business hours we have yet to get something other than a voicemail and I have not to my knowledge ever received a call back. Line2's attitude was basically "Not our problem." It's a horrible service that isn't nearly business appropriate. I'm only using it as a personal line and can't imagine trying to run a business like this. Buyer beware.

Overall Opinion: If you're a business owner trying to establish your credibility, having a dedicated line for your company can make all the difference in the world. This used to mean having a second landline installed or investing in an option like voice over IP. While these options are generally reliable, they could also be costly; and as more people move towards using cell phones, landlines have become increasingly impractical for the flexibility our lives demand. Line2 is a dedicated app that allows businesses of any size to set up a professional line they can access directly through their cell phone. The result is a very convenient alternative to traditional business lines all in a format that suits the needs of the modern businessperson. Line2 isn't the first service like this. Platforms like Google Voice provide a virtual phone number for free. What Line2 does is provide this service better than just about anyone else around. A rich feature set and consistent reception allows Line2 to suit the demands that customers expect from a business line. Your business line through Line2 can connect via cellular voice, cellular data, or WiFi internet, meaning that you won't have to worry about dropped calls or missed messages due to passing through dead zones. Your Line2 number can be accessed from any modern device as well. Answer calls through any cell phone running the app, use the standard software platform to type out SMS responses using a full keyboard, or use a tablet to track and oversee all of your correspondence. Picking a number is simple. You can either transfer over an existing number or search out a new phone number that matches your needs. Users are given a lot of control over what number they choose, making it easy to pick a line with the area code appropriate for your business or even settle on a vanity number that will be easier for your customers to remember. Line2 also offers toll free numbers to their customers. Line2 is designed for teams, and any plan you sign up for allows you to connect multiple people in your office with their own numbers, making it great for smaller businesses relying more on remote than on-site employees. Line2's feature set is what really puts it a step above cheap and free competitors like Google Voice. With your simple monthly subscription plan, you get nearly limitless local and international calling on your business line. Call forwarding options come standard along with the ability to set your own auto attendant system and transfer calls out to separate extensions. Conference calling is available for up to 20 participants, while Line2 messaging options are designed to scale with the demands of inter-office teams. You can even attach a widget to your website that will turn your text inbox into a customer care center.
Pros: Affordably priced subscription plans No cap on calling makes it ideal for any business Scales well to growing offices
Cons: Competing with free alternative services like Google Voice Glitches and crashing happen rarely

I love apps. I'm always testing new applications that I can use - either to help myself or another small business. The latest problem I had - having to carry two phones to manage my business...
