Overall Opinion: n8n is a great tool, the source is open to use and you can download it on your machine to test. Deploying it requires some cloud understanding but there are good tutorials out there. I have been able to create new nodes for my own that extend core funcionality.

Pros: - Extendable - Free to use - Can be run on your own machine, making data protection and compliance things easy to handle - Constantly updated - Active and thriving community - Some coding skills help you increasing the funcionalities

Cons: - Learning curve is a bit steep if you are unfamiliar with integrations - Needs a bit of setup to run on your own computer (some terminal commands). Not as easy as a double click - Might need a few coding lines in Javascript for very complex operations. Not the case for 90% of the situations tho

Overall Opinion: Never was faster to go from an idea to an implementation, with n8n it so easy to build or integrate digital systems. It enables me to automate the repetitive tasks in a delightful way that makes it feels like playing a video game.

Pros: n8n is free, can be self-hosted (you have more control over your data) and it provides a good set of third-party integration. Moreover, the most impactful thing is the ability to executed custom code in order to do some data transformation. n8n have an active community team and especially a great forum where the question is usually answered in a timely manner.

Cons: It a little bit technical, the learning curve may be quite steep for certain people. But it is totally worth it, after playing around with the tool and checking their youtube video and community meets any user will be able to utilize its full potential

Dali is using n8n.io almost every day since a couple of month.
