Pulseway Reviews
We have 1 review for Pulseway. The average overall ratings is 4.0 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: Compared to other examples in the APM market, or app performance management, Pulseway has a lot of advantages. There are other apps that handle the individual functions better, but there is no other app that handles all the areas so evenly and efficiently. Installing the software is easy and straightforward. You can install the software on a mobile device, or you can install it on your own server if you use Windows Server 2012 or newer as well as SQL Server 2008 R2 or newer. You'll also need an SSL certificate and one static IP address that is fully public. Asset management is one of the keystone functions of this software. Tasks related to asset management are performed at a much faster rate within Pulseway than they are in similar scanning services. The user interface for the software is simple and appealing, yet it doesn't lack any functionality. The software is entirely based online, and it produces one of the most enjoyable experiences of any similar software product. You'll receive advanced notifications when you use Pulseway. With the software, you'll have no trouble browsing files, operating in maintenance windows, managing network connectivity, and much more. Remote desktop access is possible as long as you are trying to access a Windows system, and you can still use the software to troubleshoot other operating systems and servers based online. Any assets that aren't based in Windows can still be controlled via the mobile client. You can use the mobile platform to perform a number of tasks, like locking the system, logging out, restarting the system, or killing individual processes. Of course, you'll have to download and install the agent software on the target system before you can access it remotely. With the Pulseway Manager, you can manage virtual cloud-based infrastructures while maintaining a presence over the locally-stored and implemented infrastructures. Pulseway supports a vast array of virtualization packages, including Microsoft Hyper-V and Citrix XenServer. Other similar software packages would require additional plugins in order to monitor this sort of infrastructure based on virtualization. The newest version of the software includes a new user interface that is actually quite a bit better than the already amazing Flash interface. The new interface is based on HTML5, and it features amazingly detailed icons, numerous screen transitions, and easy system grouping. Even with the few nominal weaknesses found in the software, it is a formidable option.
