Business Software Productivity and Communications
Description
Verizon Cloud is a data storage solution from the mobile service provider Verizon. Users can upload pictures, video, and other content through any Verizon device to the provider's cloud storage system... for access from any internet-connected device using this service. The Verizon Cloud software is also capable of storing contacts and other information for easy backup of anything on your phone or tablet. This software is available through a paid subscription service that can be added on to your monthly Verizon bill. This data storage solution from Verizon uses cutting-edge cloud storage technology for scalable internet storage of all your photos and media. This makes it easy to retrieve your data if you lose your phone or want to access your files from multiple devices. The service comes in two pricing and server space tiers with 500GB and 1TB plans. The smaller plan is currently advertised at $5.00 per month, with the 1TB plan costing $9.99 monthly. New customers may be eligible for a 30 day free trial through Verizon. If you've ever lost or broken your smartphone, you'll appreciate the contact storage option from Verizon Cloud. You can download your contacts to any new device after registering for the service. Contacts and user data uploaded to this cloud don't detract from your measured storage space. The automated syncing system is great for making effortless backups of your phone's content on a regular basis. You can configure this service to upload your media to the cloud once your phone starts getting full, or on a regularly scheduled basis. One thing that makes this mobile-based cloud storage system even better is that you can also access your files from a standard web browser. This is great for downloading your phone's contents to your desktop or laptop computer. The Verizon Cloud app also has an easy-share feature that allows users to grant access to specified files to friends and family. The stories feature found in the Verizon Cloud app is a nice addition. It automatically creates albums and stories based on the location and times of your photos and media. This is a nice and easy way to create video stories to celebrate birthdays and events for social media. This service works on Apple and Android devices. You can even import your content from a Windows phone or Blackberry using the import tool within the Verizon Cloud app. Read moreless
