Overall Opinion: After an exhausive sarch for a solution to replace Adobe's web tools, it seems Webflow is top of the stack. Highly optimized code is generated with design-centric systems that are visual. Uses a Box architecture model that is easy to understand and work with, where the code is robust and responsive. Because the code is standardized, sites and be customized and optimized outside of the application. In many ways an advance on Adobe Muse. Why anyone is still building sites with code is astonishing... can you imagine designing something for print with PostScript...
Overall Opinion: Webflow takes advantage of some very helpful software to make web design easier for the average person. The selling point of Webflow is the ability to change your website in real time instead of using code to achieve the same effect. While this may seem underwhelming, it is actually incredibly useful. With this software, you can easily create stunning websites with little to no knowledge of web design. In fact, actual design skills may be more important than web design skills when using Webflow. Once you get the hang of Webflow, you will be pumping out beautiful websites faster than ever. The speed and ease with which you can create great dynamic websites will only get faster and faster as you master the art of using Webflow.
Pros: Webflow requires little to no knowledge of web design to use. Because of this, anyone can hop onto Webflow and start designing their own webpage very quickly. Webflow has a very easy to use design that does not take long at all to learn to use. The software itself looks great, which ensures that you will be inspired when working with it. Websites created with Webflow often look better and flow more seamlessly than counterparts from other web designing software. Businesses and individuals alike can use Webflow to their hearts' content to create great, responsive websites.
Cons: The job that Webflow does could b done by employees at a software company, so larger tech companies that have already employed people in the sector may not have a need to use Webflow for their web design needs. Webflow nullifies previous knowledge of code. If you have spent long periods of time working with and learning how to use code, you may be frustrated when you find that Webflow provides you with a quick and easy to use alternative. There are some things that you could do with code that are not readily available features with Webflow.
I've had a lot of requests to try out Webflow, so I decided to record my first time using it to share my thoughts along the way! Please remember to subscribe bit.ly Recently...
