Overall Opinion: They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and that's certainly true in business. A glossy photo ad campaign for your product can more effectively draw in prospective customers, but Augment believes they can increase this value exponentially by fusing the products of their customers into a realistic augmented reality (AR) environment. AR has made leaps and bounds in recent years, and Augment stands at the vanguard of companies looking to implement this bold new technology in the field of commerce. A customer who sees a photograph of a sofa in a catalog can imagine what it might look like in their home. A customer who sees a 3D model of that same sofa superimposed over their living room will know. The ability to superimpose three dimensional models over a real setting could be a game changer for a number of different fields, and Augment clearly has a firm grasp on how the technology works.
