Overall Opinion: DrawPlus is a full featured graphic design software meant to compete with Adobe Photoshop at a fraction of the cost. The software program from Serif has a smaller learning curve than Photoshop, with easy to use tools and menus, and a start-up assistant that offers tips and support. This makes it a go to piece of software for beginner or amateur designers. With DrawPlus, you can make use of the layout templates that make it easier to place text, images or objects into your design. Using the program, you will find it easy to remove unwanted items from the design or to add in elements to certain images or shapes. While the software application does include a variety of photo editing tools, these features are not as extensive as other comparable software. The vector design tool in DrawPlus is high-quality and includes a variety of brushes, pens, fills and fonts for any design. You can use the vector pen to create your own shapes, or use the QuickShapes feature to get started right away. The brush tools come with different effects, including sponge, pastel, charcoal, and watercolor. All in all, the tools provided in the DrawPlus software give you everything you need for at home and business graphic design without the steep learning curve and high price.
