Overall Opinion: Developing software involves many steps, some that are productive and some that are just plain cumbersome. Developers who tire of manually pushing builds and releases to their repository of choice will be overjoyed to learn of Drone.io, a software solution that automatically pushes code at set intervals. The software seamlessly integrated with some of the most popular source code management systems, including Bitbucket, GitHub and GitHub Enterprise and more. Drone.io works with pretty much any programming language or software that runs in a container, including Docker containers. On top of all that, hundreds of community built plugins are available to help automate tasks and aid in integration with third party systems. Some examples include plugins for Amazon Web Services Lambda Deploy ECR, ECS, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFormation and S3; Artifactory; Backblaze B2; Bluemix Cloud Foundry; Discord; Crowdin; Codecov; Facebook; Google Talk; Line; Jenkins; Helm; Mercurial; Rancher; Wechat; and Marathon, among others. The drone.io website includes a convenient tutorials page to help new users understand the product's many features.

Pros: Free for entities that have a gross annual revenue under $1 million and less than $5 million in aggregate debt and equity funding. The free program does not include tech support Accepts all major credit and debit cards, and a refund of a commercial license can be requested up to 30 days after the purchase

Cons: Business who do not meet the requirements above will be shelling out $129 per month to use the service
