Overall Opinion: Google Analytics holds true to its reputation of being a quality mobile app and stands above other comparable ad tracking software. The main feature that helps Google Analytics to rise above the rest is the ability to cross-link data and ads associated with other Google products from anywhere via the mobile app.

Pros: Free Installation: Google Analytics is a free ad tracking software and extends its capabilities to the mobile app. The fact that it is free is a great factor in comparison to other ad tracking and data analysis systems. There are many features associated with Google Analytics that work seamlessly with other apps and business-related tools on the internet. Data Collection Customization: There is a feature-rich data collection and analysis section of the mobile app that assists users to understand what ads are getting traffic and those that may need attention. Customer Support and Free Training: The Customer Support and free training is a feature of this mobile app and cloud-based software. The free training allows the user to follow step by step instructions to get the most out of this free software tool. The customer support team is just a click away via chat or email.

Cons: Goal Limitations: Certain users have noted that only having 20 goal settings is not quite enough when you are running a significant amount of ads online across multiple locations. A comparable software and mobile app is KissMetrics and while there is a cost to this particular software, there is the ability to create an almost infinite number of goals. Complicated User Interface: The user interface and dashboard can be overwhelming for almost anyone and it is difficult to understand and navigate. Many people have noted that the dashboard needs to be fixed so that people can easily navigate and understand the intricacies of this mobile app and software. A similar program, Exponea, is known for its user-friendliness and simple design. Cookie Manipulation: Google Analytics is well known for a problem with the remoteness by which the data is processed. A similar program is 'Heap' that allocates cookies with the reimplementation of the data. This means that there is no particular guaranteed or promulgated amount of time for the ad tracking to show up in the analytics model.
