ProtonMail Reviews
We have 5 reviews for ProtonMail. The average overall ratings is 3.4 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: I love the idea, but I could not get it setup with my custom domain. No matter what I do their system says "your MX record is setup incorrectly". It does not tell me what the problem is, so there is nothing I can do to fix it. At the same time, their help desk promises a 1-2 day response :) Not something I can do either, it's a business email. Sadly, I will have to find another alternative to Gmail.

Overall Opinion: A splendid & stable working mailbox. Notice requesting renewal of password deletes, or at least denies access to, the existing content of your mailbox.

Overall Opinion: Unfortunately, 2 weeks prior to my individual Protonmail's creation, it already got hacked into. This is an old problem. I've had multiple small outlook and gmail accounts and I've only been hacked through public wifi. In short, the humble end-to-end encryption is only available for paid services. That is fair, however that does not explain the poor security of Protonmail. Breaking it down, the only reason I give Protonmail two stars, is the pretty web design. That is the bottom line.

Overall Opinion: Using PGP encryption that is fully comprehensive from end to end, ProtonMail makes it easy to send secure messages from your mobile device. Not only does the software provide an unmatched level of security, but it also features a user interface that is modern, sleek, and packed with functions. You can customize the gesture controls for touchscreen devices, and you can use the app to send emails that are expiring. Even though the software was originally created by scientists working at CERN back in 2013, it has since grown into something more thanks to the tremendous support from users all over the world who want to champion ultimate privacy online. The only reason the ProtonMail mobile app was even possible was because of an exceptionally large donation campaign that saw the collection of over half a million in funding. One of the best things about the ProtonMail app is that it lets you make an encrypted email account absolutely for free. There are a number of reasons why you should consider ProtonMail over other email clients. Your emails will remain private and completely hidden from third parties, and even if a hacker managed to access the data as it is transferred, the end to end encryption will prevent that data from being understood. The encryption happens in the background from the user interface, so you won't have to worry about deciphering anything or triggering the encryption before sending messages. The encryption protocols used by ProtonMail are so secure that even the administrators of the ProtonMail system can not view user emails. Another great thing about the software is that it is entirely open-source, which means it can be altered freely and inspected for reliability by anyone who wishes to scrutinize or improve the software. Since the software is hosted in the nation of Switzerland, it is protected by some of the most thorough and in-depth privacy laws in the world. When you use ProtonMail on your mobile device, you can make email addresses for the system that end in the @protonmail.com extension, and these address come with PGP key creation tools that automatically handle all the tedious aspects of encryption. Emails and any attachments to those emails are fully encrypted, and you can even add self-destruct timers to any sensitive messages to ensure they are kept out of the wrong hands. The ability to customize your gesture controls in ProtonMail is quite nice, and it makes organization much easier. The app will notify you when emails are delivered to you, and you can send emails to accounts outside the ProtonMail system that still include password protection. Like most other pieces of software with this level of complexity, there are some occasional issues with the software, but restarting the app tends to solve most issues.
Pros: Innovative Tools Modern UI
Cons: Occasional Bugs
Overall Opinion: To be honest this E-Mail service is soooooo good and it have a good UI (User Interface) and it is also have a good system and it is have so many feature that make me interesting with this E-Mail services.
Pros: What i really like from Proton Mail is because Protonmail has a good UI (User Interface) and have so many feature and the Proton Mail is the only one E-Mail Adress Encrypted that I common use in my life more than Tutamail & Mailfence.
Cons: I just hope the UI (User Interface) In Their Mobile App is getting improved because the UI (User Interface) in Their Mobile Apps is not bad but kinda boring and just I dont know like just I am more interested with UI (User Interface) in Their Website But not in Their Apps.
