Overall Opinion: The premium version of Hushmail has a ton of features if security is your number one priority, but the actual app is unreliable and lacks many of the controls and tools available on the web version. Besides the app, you can also access the email security services through a mobile version of the website from any mobile device, which gives you the ability to use the features on your phone. Hushmail also provides the capability to sync your account with another email app to ensure you do not miss out on notifications for new mail. To ensure security, Hushmail uses encryption technology when you send emails from one Hushmail user to another. You also have the option to set up two step verification before signing in for an added level of security. In order to keep your identity hidden, the software gives you the opportunity to create as many email aliases as you want. There is also a spam filter for an increased level of security. The security features of the Hushmail service are ideal for businesses or personal use, but the app does not have access to all of the features, making it necessary to visit the site on your mobile web browser.
