Overall Opinion: You'll start each post with a title, and you can also add a subtitle if you feel one is necessary. You can then work on the body of the post, and you can either add your own text content with various basic editing tools, including hyperlink embedding, bold, and italic. There is also an entire Media section on the right side of the software that finds content from social media platforms that you dictate. When you first start using the Media section of the software, it will show you content from a few default sources. You can then personalize the content that you receive here through the software settings. Possible sources include Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, Google, YouTube, Chute, Disqus, RSS, SoundCloud, GetGlue, Breaking News, Instagram, StockTwits, and Storify itself. The software comes with integrated browser buttons for Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, which makes it easy to share content to your Storify page quickly and efficiently with just a click. Perhaps one of the most brilliant aspects of the software is that it preserves attribution when content is sourced. IP concerns are handled with exceptional finesse, and there are integrated tools for notifying the owner of a source that you cite. There doesn't seem to be a button in the software to add photos that you own on your local device to your story. Instead, you are forced to post those photos on another platform and link to them through Storify. Storify embedding is one area where the software shines. You can simply copy and paste the original source code from the software to any location on the web that accepts such code. This is exceptionally helpful for those who constantly update website content, like bloggers or freelance writers. You can use the Storify platform to follow other users so you can see what they find interesting. While you can fairly easily spot other social media users on the platform through the outside platforms, there is no formal method for finding new people to follow. One of the best ways seems to be simply visiting the home page and viewing content authors. This is decent for finding a few people to follow, but there is no search function for finding specific accounts or themes. This software could easily become a major player in the content distribution industry, and its ability to streamline the citation process only makes the software even more attractive. With some fine tuning to remove the last remaining major issues, this could be a powerhouse in its category in a very short time.
