Sales is an integral component of most business models, but the more complex the marketplace becomes, the harder it gets to make the most of your sales team. Particularly with larger sales teams, the administrative end of things can really bog down your productivity, and frayed communications can result in sales members accidentally working at crossed purposes. Pipedrive is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform with a focus on pipeline management and sales. It helps get your sales team all on the same page and cut down on the busy work sales members and managers have to do to keep your operations running smoothly.

There's a lot going on under Pipedrive's hood, and that makes the design and organizational structure of this software platform especially important. Fortunately, the developers have really stepped up to the plate and produced a design that conveys a large amount of information without being overwhelming. Pipedrive always opens on your dashboard, which serves as a cleanly displayed vision of your pipeline. By presenting operations from this sort of top down view, users can then easily get a scan of the various stages of their process, evaluate issues, and zoom in quickly to focus on particular issues directly. The pipeline is highly customizable as well, so you can put together a dashboard that's catered to the specific needs of your sales department. A simple drag and drop interface allows you to manipulate leads, activities, and deals without having to dig through cumbersome menus.

While these are automatically sorted in order of deadlines, there are a wide range of filters you can use to zoom in on specific circumstances. You have full control over how your reminders and notifications are set up and a lot of leverage to customize your grid to match your demands.
