"If you have a small or midsize business that could benefit from numerous advanced IT support tools, GoToAssist is the answer you seek. The software comes with a premium charge based on the number of users in your business, but you can take advantage of a free 30-day trial offer that includes all the features of the full paid version. To access this 30-day trial, you'll have to provide an initial credit card that will be charged once the trial is over, but you can cancel at any time. If you don't feel comfortable providing any credit card data, you can still try a modified version of the GoToAssist software for 14 days at no cost.

Inside the GoToAssist software, you'll find three basic areas of support. Those areas are IT monitoring, service desk solutions, and remote support. While almost everything the software does happens over the internet, you'll still need to download and install a piece of the software to every device on the network. The same is true for mobile devices that you want to be able to access remotely. It takes little to no effort to install and set up the software, but it will take some time to learn the vast array of advanced features and how they work. To help with this, a number of video tutorials and help pages have been included. There's even an integrated chat service for any questions or others issues regarding GoToAssist.

When you first sign up for GoToAssist, you'll be given an option regarding the number of support staff you wish you have. The software can be configured to work specifically with your existing workflow and physical devices. Once it is configured, you are instantly capable of accessing the screens of your customers if they wish to share for support purposes.

For systems that are under your control, but not local to you, you can install a satellite piece of software that will give you access to devices even when no one else is using them. This is an excellent feature for those who might need to troubleshoot problems on devices or servers within the business network. Since the software is fully compatible with mobile devices, you can not only access mobile devices with the software, but you can provide support with your own mobile devices."
