Paperpile Reviews
We have 2 reviews for Paperpile. The average overall ratings is 4.5 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: I have found that Paperpile, unlike other competitors like Mendeley, is hazard-free, useful, and simple tool with very desirable features. A large number of paper citing services provided over the internet do not amount to the amount of time that can be saved and seamless organization with Paperpile. I was able to collet papes citing information and the pdf files, which get store in GoogleDrive in a matter of seconds. I am able to set labels that I can track and organize the papers by in an easy to follow format.
Pros: -
Cons: -
Overall Opinion: Great reference manager if you start collecting articles. If you migrate from Mendeley via the file upload option: forget it. Over 3000 of my 3400 files were not attached. Mendeley tags are gone, since Paperpile imports via RIS. As a result, Paperpile is useless for me. Helpdesk just acknowledges that unfortunately there is not much that can be done. This is just not good enough.
Pros: Ease of use, design of interface, speed, PDF annotator.
Cons: Mendeley import via file upload, helpfulness of help desk.
