Overall Opinion: Projects turn out smoothly when teams are better able to communicate with one another, and Redbooth is here to provide your office with all the tools and features they need to get their jobs done. While there are a number of project management apps on the market, Redbooth brings a level of almost zen-like simplicity to the process, stripping down the core services people expect from project management apps and itnegrating them together in an intuitively designed wrapper. Effective management streamlines the process of delegating tasks rather than creating new steps in the process, and Redbooth's delegation process is essentially as simple as a to-do list. Each project your teams are performing are provided their own designation as a workspace, and from there, all you have to do is populate them with tasks that function as a checklist. These tasks are the building blocks of the task management processes utilized by Redbooth. Each can be assigned to individual members of a team or to groups, and you have control over who's allowed access to each workgroup. For larger companies juggling multiple support staff, this is a meaningful distinction. Each task can also be assigned deadlines and tagged based on its importance, simplifying the process of prioritizing tasks and helping to maintain a sensible sense of workflow. Management is rarely handled by a single person, and that's why Redbooth allows any designated user to create more specialized groups that further break down elements of a task or users to even create their own private workgroups to help them track and order their activities. There are a couple of crucial automation functions available through Redbooth. Templates provide you with blueprints for some of the most common forms of workgroups that users can be expected to need, but you aren't locked in to the templates that are available. Any workgroup you've been created can be speedily transformed into a template for later use. Also available is the ability to transform an email directly into a task. All pertinent information will be saved and automatically sent to the console of the assigned team member. For those who rely on more visual learning, there's the ability to create dynamic and colorful gantt charts, and Redbooth also comes with native integration with a range of major third party apps. Redbooth's fundamentally simple structure means that it's a great choice for users who aren't always sitting in front of their office computer. Their mobile apps run smoothly, and practically anything that could be done on the main interface can be achieved just as easily with a tap or a swipe of your phone's screen. While other management apps may overload themselves with complex menus and a bevy of bells and whistles, Redbooth seems to understand that simplicity is sometimes better. They've managed to create an app that strips all the unnecessary fat from project management and zero in on the features that matter.
Pros: A clean and efficient UI helps users focus more on the task and less on the planning Templates greatly simplify the process of launching new projects Detailed productivity reports are available for all of your workgroups
Cons: Features are more limited than some competitors Not many templates available out of the box
